It all stared with a Mother's wish for her daughter to be remembered...

Created in memory of Kym Coleman, KCEF mission is to assist school-aged children that reside in low-income areas of Houston, and to help improve their quality of education.

Our funds support incentive programs such as Honor Roll Bicycle Program,
Most Improved Student, Art Contest, and various book drives benefiting
low-income elementary schools.

Through the years we have added additional ways to continue to help the children in the future of their education. Every year we pick a student in the scholarship program as another contribution to their future.
